Female students from upper elementary school through high school (17 and under). No modeling experience required — come as you are. If you're not used to posing, we'll start simple and find your style together.
Portrait model recruitment for students in Japan.
Kanagawa & Tokyo based.
You don't need to do anything special. BloomFrame believes there's something worth photographing in you, just as you are.
No directed poses, no forced themes. On the day of the shoot, we might chat while walking, or pause somewhere you like. That's where your natural expression appears.
Portrait photography is our main focus, but if you'd like to explore a little further, we're open to that too — always at your own pace, and only with your agreement. We may also occasionally ask if video would be okay alongside stills.
First time in front of a camera? Not a fan of being photographed? That's completely fine. We'll take it slowly, together.
Parental or guardian consent is required for all participants under 18. Please feel free to reach out via LINE with any questions — messages from parents and guardians are welcome too.

Parental consent is required in all cases. Accompaniment guidelines by age group:
Outdoor portrait photography using natural light is our main focus — relaxed, unhurried, tailored to the season and location. High school students may also request beach or riverside shoots (swimwear, by request only). We may occasionally ask if video is okay alongside stills.
Message us on LINE and we'll chat about the mood, location, and timing. Once things look good, we'll ask for a few quick photos — face, upper body, and full body if possible. On the day, we start with a low-key meetup somewhere public and ease into the shoot from there. It's completely fine to change your mind at the meetup — though we won't be able to cover transport in that case.
Nothing special required — your everyday clothes are perfectly fine. If there's an outfit you'd love to wear, let us know and we'll plan around it.
Our guideline is ¥3,000–5,000 per hour for portrait shoots. Day-trip expedition shoots start from ¥15,000. Payment is either handed to you in cash on the day, or by bank transfer (if you can share your account details beforehand or on the day, we'll transfer it on the spot). Transportation costs are paid separately, agreed in advance. Any venue fees, local transport, or meals on the day are covered by us. If a parent or guardian accompanies you, their transport costs can also be discussed.
Posting photos publicly is entirely optional. See "Photo Handling" below for details.
Our expedition shoots are a chance to enjoy a short trip and take photos along the way. Sightseeing can be the main focus, with shooting as an optional add-on — if that's what you prefer, the rate will be adjusted accordingly, but you're welcome to come along and enjoy the outing first. For those who'd like a more dedicated shoot, day-trip expeditions start from ¥15,000. Parents and guardians are welcome to join on expedition days — just let us know when you get in touch.
Other areas available on request — just message us on LINE.
No, not at all. Whether any photo gets published anywhere is something we discuss after the shoot. If you'd rather keep everything private, that's completely fine.
By default, we don't really plan around avoiding your face. That said, depending on the situation, we may be able to work with shots from behind, silhouettes, or angles where your face isn't clearly visible — just ask.
A parent or guardian sending a message via LINE confirming their consent is all we need. They're also welcome to be part of the conversation directly, or to join on the day.
Yes — if things go well, we're happy to shoot together again. As we build a working relationship, we may occasionally ask about publishing a particular photo.
As a guideline, ¥3,000–5,000 per hour is our baseline for portrait shoots.
If you're a foreign resident or student in Japan, the same rates and payment methods above apply. If you're here as a tourist, we're happy to do things a little differently — instead of cash, we'll send you your photos and treat you to a meal of your choice (Japanese food, within a reasonable budget) as a thank-you for your time.
Not as a default — everything is worked out over LINE beforehand, which keeps a written record of what was agreed. If you'd feel more comfortable with a signed release form, just let us know and we'll arrange one.
We'll either postpone, move somewhere sheltered, or — with your agreement — switch to an indoor location.
Photos may be posted to our album on this site or on Instagram, but posting is never required. You decide which photos, if any, go public, and you can mark any photo as "please don't use this." If you'd prefer to stay fully private, your photos won't be posted publicly — instead they'll go into a private album visible only to you and to us.
We generally deliver your photos through your own private album login. From there you can flag photos you don't want used, and download your photos to keep. If you have time right after the shoot, we can upload everything and set up your login on the spot — and if you'd like, you're welcome to connect to our Wi-Fi to view them without using your own data. Login details are provided after your shoot.
This page is about one-on-one individual shoots. Separately, we have a couple of things we'd love to mention.
Alongside individual shoots, we occasionally run small photo sessions with a few models. If you'd be interested in that as well, feel free to mention it when you reach out.
If you're a parent or guardian who accompanies your child to shoots and you'd like to get involved in supporting the project — coordination, communication, social media, or just helping out on the day — we'd genuinely love to have you. No experience required; whatever you're comfortable with is welcome. Of course, you're always welcome to simply join your child on the day and enjoy the experience together. Reach out via LINE if you're curious.
We're also looking for English-speaking staff to help with coordination, communication, and shoots — photographers, coordinators, social media, and more. Most roles are open; reach out via LINE if you're interested.
Questions alone are welcome. Parents and guardians can reach out too.
No pushy follow-ups — ever.
